Well, if it's a coming-out gala, I assume they'll wear white dresses...or white robes...or something.

'Happy Aryans'. Jesus wept.

This is a good example of the "respectable" racialist right, rather than some barely literate neo-Nazi. These are the people who believe in "human biodiversity", a nice euphemism for the belief that some ethnic groups are smarter, harder working, less violent, etc than others, and that this can be proven via science. It's a side of the right that is growing in popularity (especially on the web). Many of the members are avowed secularists, though (that doesn't stop them from being prejudiced against Muslims, for example). I'll post more information about this phenomenon on my page.

I've found that the right in America seems to generally oppose either or both of two aspects of liberal democracy: secularism and egalitarianism. The HBD crowd is adamantly against egalitarianism (and not that friendly to secularism either; many of them are quite sympathetic with the beliefs of Christian conservatives about returning society to a "simpler" time).

It's similar to running rats through a maze, over and over again. After they learn the ins and outs, and all the paths that lead to nowhere with their more rancid approach, they learn from their mistakes and repackage what at one time was too toxic for mainstream consumption.

Kinder, gentler racism has more appeal.

Interesting to note the "broken snake" image from the right side of the graphic was, aside from its noted historical uses, also used as the logo for Glenn Beck's 9/12 Project.

Of course. What is this conference if not the very definition of his "white culture" crap? 9_9

Wonderful post, spot on.

Frank says:
"Hey, you know something, people? I'm not black, but there's a whole lotsa times I wish I could say I'm not white." (from "Trouble Every Day", a lyric that sadly still resounds nearly 50 years on....)

NPI's 2011 conference will address the consequences of mass immigration into the United States from cultural, political, and biological perspectives.

So, I'm guessing that consequences they're looking at don't include great new foods, more reasons to celebrate, interesting new neighbors, and strengthening the gene pool?

White tongues can't handle the heathen spicy food.

On top of this news, the fine folks with the Youth for Western Civilization are also having a "national conference:" [Link: webcache.googleusercontent.com...]

And the crazy train goes barreling towards the waste lands...

The GOP's descent into madness reminds me of the junkies in Requiem for a Dream. They were once just "regular" people, but then their addictions drove them to increasingly dangerous acts of desperation until they were destroyed one & all.

Well, I'm anti-egalitarian, but my I've never given racist assholes like this the time of day. I know where their ilk's plans end. They end in tyranny and murder.

Well, if this is the "white culture" that Barack Obama has a deep seated hatred for, more power to him.

Someone should crash the party and yell this:
